The Maricopa Rams Football program is a brotherhood. We believe that excellence is perfected by continuous commitment to doing the little things, all the time—right. So what is being a Rams Football Player…
Respect ourselves and others, in life, and competition
Be where we are supposed to be on time all the time
We will be good students in class, in pursuit of academic excellence
There are no hierarchies in our program. We are all the same. Rams!
Be Ram Tough
Play Hard and not the scoreboard
Play with passion
Play Together - ONE heartbeat
The “NEXT RAM IN”
What does it mean? Is it just something you slap on a t-shirt or a slogan? Not for us. The next RAM in means that our players and coaches Work, Train, and prepare with the belief that at any time they can be called upon to perform at a high level. The no hierarchy mantra in our program says no one can sit and wait until they are at a certain stature before they have to be at their best. We cannot afford to have a mindset where we believe that we have time to wait for anything or anyone before we can be great. The weight room doesn’t have a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd string. It is an equal opportunity environment that says everyone in there can get all they want and achieve all they want, if they are willing to put in the work. The next ram in must be our mindset!
Love being a ram. Love your teammates, Love football. Love all these things enough that it stops you from doing anything to jeopardize your opportunity to play the game with your ram brothers.
